Participants in this training session will be presented with the research foundations of the Learning Accomplishment Profile and opportunities to explore the assessment. Participants will develop an under standing of the LAP assessment; understand the skills necessary to administer, score, and use the data; and discuss sharing results with parents. It will support classroom teachers in their use and understanding of both LAP and observational data to shape learning and development. Participants will explore the direct connections between children's developmental data from the LAP and curriculum planning for their care and development. In addition, participants will explore supportive ways to share LAP data with families to strengthen at-home learning and engagement.
