This session focuses on helping Connect4Learning teachers examine their math knowledge, beliefs, and practices to deepen their understanding of how to support children with different math backgrounds. We'll explore how young children build math knowledge using the Connect4Learning learning trajectory model. We'll focus on grouping, informal and formal measurement, and number sense. Participants will learn strategies for scaffolding content, and teachers will work with each other to develop strategies for connecting informal assessment data to day-to-day curricular supports.
