Christy comes to Kaplan with decades of experience in education. After starting out as an inclusion classroom teacher for 3rd and 5th grades, Christy worked in educational publishing and sales for over 25 years at various companies including McGraw Hill and Triumph Learning. During this time, she developed expertise in supplemental print and digital solutions, especially those concerning assessments and professional development.
Christy serves the Southeastern United States as a Curriculum, Assessment, and Professional Learning (CAPL) sales representative. Her territory includes the cities of Atlanta, Greenville, Richmond, Savannah, and Mobile. Christy brings a people-first mindset to her job, and she loves to help teachers discover innovative ways to improve their teaching.
Christy and her husband have been married for 25 years. They have two children who both attend the University of Florida. Christy is an animal lover, and her favorite hobbies are playing tennis, reading, and cooking.
