18 months & up. Make early numbers tangible with the Magnetic Wood Cookie Counters. The 21 nature-inspired pieces are marked 0 through 20, giving children a concrete collection to place, count, arrange, and revisit as they become familiar with numerals and numerical order.
Each faux wood counter has black magnetic backing for convenient use on blackboards or whiteboards. An educator can invite children to find a number, put several counters in sequence, or compare which numeral comes next. These open-ended activities offer opportunities to practice counting, number recognition, and seriation while children handle and reposition the pieces.
The counters are made in part with Poly+, a composite material made from 30% less plastic, and are designed for indoor and outdoor numeracy activities. Each counter measures 2" in diameter x 0.5"H. The magnetic backs let educators bring the same number set to an appropriate magnetic teaching surface; a board is not listed as part of the set.

As an early headstart teacher these come in handy getting math into my lessons. My kids love that they look like cookies. They're the perfect size for their little hands. They are made super well I have no worries of kids swallowing or dropping and breaking.

My lil kiddies at work loved these! I primarily work with 2-2.5yr olds and these were a perfect tool to aid with counting, we lined them up and read the numbers depicted. They also loved trying to find any magnetic surface to stick them on. The pieces were durable even after being dropped many times haha they are really well made, perfect size for little hands to grab onto

I love these Kaplan, wood cookie counters for teaching my three-year-old! I’m very impressed by the quality of the magnets being that they are for 18 months and up they are perfectly made for durability and safety. They’re very chunky and well-made. They stick to the magnet board and don’t fall off easily, and they are thick enough for all ages to grasp in their hands. Very well made learning essentials to learn numbers 0 through 20. Very convenient and have a light layer of glossing to wipe down easily and sanitize. Great for any school we’re home setting.
