18 months & up. Invite children to identify letters, make simple words, and explore letter shapes through hands-on block play. This 36-piece faux-bark set includes all 26 letters of the alphabet plus 10 additional letters commonly used in words, giving educators pieces for a range of early literacy activities.
Children can handle and arrange the block-like shapes as they notice letter forms, find familiar letters, or try building simple words. These open-ended activities offer opportunities for early literacy exploration and fine motor practice without requiring every child to use the letters in the same way.
Made from Poly+, a composite material made with 30% less plastic, the letters are designed for years of indoor and outdoor play. Bring them into a literacy area, or pair them with sand, water, mud, dirt, and other messy materials outside to add tactile variety. The letters are easy to clean after play with natural elements.
Each faux-bark letter measures approximately 2"L x 2"W x .5"H. The complete 36-piece assortment gives children the alphabet plus 10 extra commonly used letters to explore naming, matching, and simple word building in hands-on ways.
