Designed to introduce children to rhythm and music learning, these brightly colored ribbons float easily through the air as children wave them along with music. The movement-based experience also promotes gross motor functions as children move the ribbons to different beats.
Educators can invite children to tap the rhythm sticks and wave the ribbons at different beats in a song, helping connect physical movement with musical rhythm. Children can also identify the color of their Rainbow Rhythm Ribbon and experiment with creating rhythms of their own, adding opportunities for choice and creative exploration to music and movement experiences.

I use these rhythm ribbons in a large church nursery. The children are well below the recommended age of 4 years, but the ribbons have been a huge hit. The length of ribbons is perfect for young children (even our 1 1/2-year-olds), and so far they have held up great. We take good care to refold the ribbons after use so that do they do not get tangled. Along with using them during musical activities, a favorite activity is just to complete the following rhyme with described actions, which we borrowed and then modified from a violin teacher.Up like a rocket.Down like the rain.Back and forth like a choo-choo train.Round and round like the great big sun.Now twirl it fast.Turn around. All done.

These are such a wonderful addition to my ballet classes! They are bright, sturdy and beautiful! They are not cheap, but worth every penny. I have now ordered four sets for my ballet school!

We purchased one set of these for a grant project and then realized that there weren't enough so we ordered 3 more sets. The kids love these and they function as they should be the ribbon ends fray really easily and then get caught in the swivels. I will be lightly burning the ends of 24 ribbon sticks this weekend before we have no ribbons left.
This ribbon set is wonderful.

These HIGH quality ribbons have become a great favorite for my preschoolers. So much so that I have to rotate them weekly to give the ribbons a break. LOL!
