Connect4Learning® sessions provide participants with comprehensive, engaging professional learning opportunities to support the successful implementation of the Connect4Learning® curriculum. We offer flexible virtual sessions rooted in the latest research in early childhood education and adult learning principles to set educators up for success. Our Connect4Learning® certified professional learning trainers are experts in the field who bring both classroom experience and a broad knowledge base of educational pedagogy to every session and provide participants with clear connections between theory and practice, emphasizing actionable strategies from the curriculum that educators can implement in their own classrooms. Participants in these professional learning sessions will be presented with the research foundations of the Learning Accomplishment Profile and opportunities to explore the assessment. Participants will develop an understanding of the LAP assessment; understand the skills necessary to administer, score, and use the data; and discuss sharing results with parents. Sessions will support classroom teachers in their use and understanding of both LAP and observational data to shape learning and development. Participants will explore the direct connections between children's developmental data from the LAP and curriculum planning for their care and development.
